Boy Scout Christmas Cake

Boy Scout Christmas Cake

I made this cake for my sons Boy Scout Christmas Party. The cake feed about 80 people.

I used fondant and gum paste for the boy scout figures as well as the Santa, gifts, camp fire and there sleeping bags. The house was made of ginger bread and the trees were made from rice crisp the piped with butter cream frosting.

The entire cake was frosted with butter cream frosting then sprinkled with powder sugar for the fresh fallen snow effect.

I have never taken any cake decorating classes just went in full steam with a idea in my head.
The cakes were a BIG hit with the family and not to bad for a first time decorating and using fondant attempt
